ILL@UMKC Transaction Statuses Interpreted

Defines the statuses in ILL@UMKC (listed alphabetically)

Awaiting ALA Processing
ILL staff is still processing the request – this request will take a little longer than most requests.

Awaiting Copyright Clearance
ILL staff is still processing the article request.

Awaiting Customer Contact
The item has been received in ILL and has been processed, but is not yet on the holdshelf.

Awaiting Denied Renewal Processing
A renewal has been denied and the item needs to be returned by the original due date, but the patron has not been notified yet.

Awaiting Doc Provider Processing
ILL staff is still processing the request.

Awaiting User Verification
The request is in initial stages of processing.

Awaiting MERLIN Processing
Requested item is available in MERLIN and request will be placed through that system.

Awaiting MOBIUS Processing
Requested item is available in MOBIUS and request will be placed through that system.

Awaiting OCLC Processing
ILL staff is still processing the request.

Awaiting Post Receipt Processing
This requested item has arrived, but has not yet been processed by the ILL staff.

Awaiting Recalled Processing
A checked out item has been recalled and needs to be returned immediately, but the patron has not been notified yet.

Awaiting S&V Sorting
ILL staff is still processing the request.

Awaiting Unfilled/Conditional Processing
ILL staff has submitted the request to other libraries, but it has been stalled at some point and is awaiting further processing.

Cancelled By Customer
The patron cancelled the request.

Cancelled By ILL Staff
ILL staff has cancelled the request and notified the patron of the reason (check notifications for reasons).

Checked Out to Customer
ILL item is checked out to the patron.

Customer Notified via E-Mail
ILL item is completely processed and on the holdshelf.

Customer Notified via Phone
ILL item is completely processed and on the holdshelf.

Delivered to Web
ILL item is completely processed and available for pickup in ILL@UMKC.

In Transit
ILL item has been returned to access services but has not been processed in ILL.

Incorrect Item Received and Returned
An item was received that does not match the item that was requested. It has been returned to the lender and the original item will be re-requested.

Received Partial/Incorrect Item
An item was received that either does not match the item that was requested or is incomplete.

Request Finished
The entire request process has been completed successfully – for loans, item has been returned to lender; for articles, item has been posted to the Ariel server.

Request Finished: MERLIN/MOBIUS
A request has been placed on behalf of the patron in MERLIN/MOBIUS.

Request In Processing
ILL request is being actively processed.

Request Sent
Request has been sent to potential lenders and ILL is waiting for the request to be approved or denied by a lender.
